Knotless braid pricing is not one-size-fits-all. The main factors are: the size of the braids (small, medium, or large), the length (waist-length costs more than shoulder-length), and whether hair is included. Style complexity also plays a role — simple straight-backs cost less than bohemian braids with curly ends. In our Florence, KY salon, we share pricing during booking so there are no surprises.

Price Ranges by Size and Length

Small knotless braids (thinner, more braids, longer install) run higher than large braids. Shoulder-length styles are the most affordable entry point. Mid-back and waist-length styles cost more because of the time and extra braiding hair required. Why Knotless Braids Cost More Than Box Braids

Knotless braids require a different technique — the stylist feeds hair in gradually rather than securing a knot at the root. This takes longer (often 30–60 extra minutes for a full head) and requires more precise hands. The result is a lighter, more comfortable braid with less tension on your scalp. The extra cost reflects real skill and time, not a markup.

What's Included in Your Price

At Blessed Hair Braiding & Locs, most styles include the braiding hair. You do not need to purchase or bring extensions separately. Your price covers the full installation from sectioning to finishing. We will confirm exactly what is included when you book so you know what to expect.

The Deposit and How Booking Works

A 25% deposit is required to secure your appointment. This amount goes toward your total balance — it is not an extra fee. The remaining balance is due at the end of your appointment. We accept cash, card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Cash App, and Zelle. Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment.
